The NAYEN annual Conference is a fantastic opportunity to share Rotary Youth Exchange with fellow Rotarians from around the world. We have 3 days of conference programming for both first time attendees and those new to RYE, as well as veteran RYE volunteers. The conference will offer speakers, sessions, and exhibits all geared towards enhancing your District's Rotary Youth Exchange program.

Past RYE students who returned after 2016, this is for those that have recently returned and are still starting in their careers.
Spouse

All Rotarians attending the conference should register as individual attendees. Spouse registration is for included meals and the Saturday banquet only. Spouses are not able to attend sessions.

Thursday & Friday dinners are not provided by the conference. These meals are on your own.

Should I invite my DG or DG elect to attend NAYEN?
Yes! We have great sessions and information for District Governors!
General Conference Information
When is the last day to register for the 2027 conference?
Last day to register for the in-person conference online is March 15, 2027. Late registrations on site may be limited due to the hotel contract.
What is "Whova"?
Whova is the conference app for finding program information, speakers, connecting with attendees, and more. It becomes available 60-90 days before the event.
I can't get into Whova.
The app publishes 60-90 days prior to conference start. If accessed before then, there is no live event yet.
I registered but can no longer attend, how do I cancel?
Contact Bruce Stimson (brucestimson@gmail.com). All cancellations incur a $25 fee. Refund policies: 60+ days notice = 100%; 30-45 days = 50%; 14-30 days = 25%; 0-14 days = 0%.
Did you register & pay in the last 15-30 minutes?
Once live, new registrations update in Whova daily. You'll receive an email from Whova once uploaded.
My partners and I are both coming to NAYEN and are both Rotarians, can one of us register as a 'Spouse'?
All Rotarians should register as "attendees" to access sessions. Those registered as "Spouse" cannot attend sessions but get meals and banquet access.
I went on Rotary Youth Exchange when I was in high school! Can I register as ROTEX?
If you're a young professional who went on exchange in 2015-2016 or later, register as ROTEX for the lower rate. If established in your career and exchanged earlier (1980, 2000, 2010, etc.), register as an individual attendee. NAYEN contacts ROTEX registrants to confirm exchange year.
Were you registered by someone else from your district?
Confirm the email they provided at registration — you need that exact email to login. Contact Jeff Gabriel (jgd5190@gmail.com) if there's a typo.
I think I have the right email, but there is already an account & I don't have the password?
Click "forgot password" on the login page and follow instructions. NAYEN cannot reset passwords. If using a district email, the previous chair may have created an account — reset the password or contact the registrar to switch to a personal email.
I tried to register with an apple, facebook or other social sign on email, I don't have the event once I'm logged in.
Log out and log back in using the email you provided at registration. Only registered emails get immediate Whova access.
Hotel FAQ
What is the group room rate for the 2027 conference?
$159 plus taxes and fees. Room block expires March 15, 2027. Reservations must be made by January 19, 2026 for the conference rate. Book your room.
I want to come early or stay late to explore the city, how long does the group rate apply?
Check in 3 days before and stay 3 days after at the conference rate.
Can the conference committee cancel my reservation?
No, contact the hotel directly to modify your reservation.
How do I get to the conference hotel?

Is there parking on site?
Yes, the hotel has free parking available for those driving to the conference.
